# Kerikeri River Orchards

> We have been growing citrus and feijoas on this bend of the river since 1987, these days it is mostly me, my daughter Anna, and two staff through picking season. Most of what we grow goes out under our own name to shops and markets around Northland rather than through a packhouse.

Based in 184 Waipapa Road, Kerikeri.

## About

The block sits on river silt about two kilometres out of town, which is warmer than the hill country around it and lets us pick navels earlier than most. We grow six citrus varieties plus feijoas, and we still hand pick and hand grade everything that leaves here.
